How to find commercial property for lease?
ByHow can I find a place for my business? I can’t find anything online or in the paper. Do I have to drive around looking for “for lease” signs in my target area?

Yes, that is always the best thing to do. If you are looking for retail space, you want space in a healthy area. You can also contact a real estate agent in your target area and they can help you find space. When choosing a site for a business that depends on customers finding you and coming back, it is all about location, location, location, If you are entering a different type of business (manufacturing, or other non-storefront businesses), the real estate agent might be the way to go. Most internet real estate websites are home and land driven which is why you are having problems finding information online. Another good resource might be to check with the local government or chamber of commerce. Good luck!
