I am looking at some places to open my own restaurant carry out and am working on pricing some units, but not sure how big to make it. I see it should be about the size of a small fast food place, like a subway, and was wondering how many square feet an average subway shop is. Also I was quoted $14 per square foot on the lease of a shop, would you say that is yearly or how do they normally do that?
